Vyoma & Ricard

Els Plans de Sió
15th & 16th May 2026

We’re getting married!

And we’d love for you to celebrate with us!

We feel so lucky to have friends and family all around the world. But that also means we don’t get to see many of you as often as we’d like. So we’re taking this chance to bring everyone together for one special weekend.

It would mean the world to have you there so to make things easier, we’ve put everything you need in one place. On this site, you can RSVP, check the schedule, find accommodation tips, and more.

We know it’s a big journey to get here, so your presence is all we are asking for. We are not accepting gifts.

If you have any questions or need help with travel plans, just give us a call or send a message.

We can't wait to celebrate with you!

4pm
La Masia de Queralt entrance
Welcoming the groom
The Baraat is the groom's entrance procession with his family and friends, where they are officially welcomed in by the bride's family. It's a meaningful moment that brings both families together before the night begins.

Haldi
Haldi is when close family and friends apply turmeric paste on the couple for blessings and that pre-wedding glow. It's an intimate, meaningful ritual for luck and happiness.
8pm
La Masia de Queralt
Sangeet
Sangeet meaning 'sung together' in Hindi, is traditionally when families come together to celebrate through music and dance. These days it's evolved into a party where people perform choreographed dances (sometimes hilarious, always entertaining).

Locations

The two wedding locations, Hostafrancs and La Maisia de Queralt are in Els Plans de Sió. They are just a 10 mins drive from one another.

Hostafrancs

Hostafrancs is a 1,000-year-old village of just 90 inhabitants, nestled in the Catalan countryside. Located about 1 hour from Barcelona, 2 hours from the Pyrenees, and 3 hours from Costa Brava, it sits perfectly between the city, the mountains, and the sea. We look forward to welcoming you to our village square, where the wedding reception will take place.

La Maisia de Queralt

This villa sits atop a gentle hill overlooking the region’s idyllic countryside. Surrounded by sweeping views and timeless charm, it will be the setting for our Indian celebrations on the first day of the wedding weekend.

Travel

If you’re flying in for the wedding, there are several airport options to Hostafrancs and La Masia de Queralt.

Option 1
Barcelona El Prat Airport (BCN)
  • 1.15 hour by car
  • This is the most convenient option for most international arrivals. As a plus you can visit one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
Option 2
Girona–Costa Brava Airport (GRO)
  • 2 hours by car
  • A good alternative if you want to travel to Costa Brava before or after the wedding.
Option 3
Madrid Barajas Airport (MAD)
  • 5 hrs by car
  • This is a roadtrip option with famous stops along the way such as Zaragoza
Alternatively you can take a high-speed AVE train to Lleida Pirineus Station (about 2 hours) and then it's a 40-minute drive.
We recommend factoring in a car

Whichever airport you choose, your journey will bring you into the heart of the Catalan countryside, where public transport options are limited.

Hiring a car is the easiest way to reach Hostafrancs and it will also give you the freedom to explore more of Catalunya. Whether that’s a day in the mountains, a drive to the coast, or wandering through nearby historic villages before or after the wedding.

Things to do

For those who don't know, Ricard lived in Hostafrancs for a part of his childhood and both of us lived in Hostafrancs between 2021-2022. We have very key memories associated with this area. In case you are planning to travel around the area before or after the wedding, here are our top tips.

Rsvp

We know it's a trek and a half for some of you to get here. So we would be honored if you would attend and also completely understand if you can not. It would be great if you could let us know your decision by February 28th so we can plan the food accordingly. Thank you!
